Blue Raindrops Page 2
is like a twisted game,
You have to keep playing to beat the game.
And it's not about how much you've won
Nor is it about how many trophies you usually take home,
And it's not about how much you lose
nor is it about how you've been provoked.
It's about how you've decided to face the fight,
How you've decided to reach the top.
It’s about how you've fought your fears
and how firmly you stood to face the years...
When it seems that the sun has lost its light
when it seems hard to continue the fight,
just remind yourself of the beat of your heart
and remind yourself you can beat the game even if it's so hard...
Because there’s a light inside you
There's hope radiating in you.
Just find your tiny flare of strength
And that will light the path you've chosen.
Don't discourage yourself
Don't think you can’t continue the race
It's not about how you finished first
It's not about how you lead the best.
It doesn't matter if you finished last
It doesn't matter if you can't run so fast.
It's about how much you stumbled
It's about how many times you fail
It's about how many times you tripped
It's about how many times you fell.
It's about how you stood again
It's about how you continued to play the game
It's about how many times you got up
Just so you could reach the top...
It doesn't matter if you're last in line
It doesn't matter if you've failed many times
What matters is you're first to try again
Just so you could finish the game.
If by Tomorrow I am Gone
If by tomorrow I am gone,
what would you do my dear?
Would you sulk away in a corner,
and weep away with bloody tears?
Or would you rather smile
And spite your memories of me
and choose to desecrate
My self-proclaimed sanctity?
If tomorrow I don't wake up,
what would you do my dear?
Would you succumb to loneliness,
or stare at me with fear?
Or would you rather hold my hand
and whisper hushed goodbyes,
and throw in a white rose in my grave
midst the pouring rain?
If tomorrow I wither away to die,
what would you do my dear?
Would you reminisce our memories,
gazing at our pictures with tears?
Or would you light up even one candle
in memory of me,
And play that melancholic song
you always sing for me?
If by tomorrow I am gone,
what would you do my dear?
Would you promise to follow me
or keep me alive in your memory?
Or would you rather Pray and Wish
that I would live again with you till eternity?
Tell me my dear, which would it be
if tomorrow I am gone with only heaven to see?
I Love You
I love you very much and I'd say it everyday
I hate to see the things that hurt you most, I wish it would go away
If only I have a magical wand
I'd make it go away, if only it could be done.
I love you very much that’s what I'll sing to you
Each day that I'm with you
I'll make sure you hear it wherever you are
I'll make sure you feel it whenever I get the chance.
I love you very much, what I say is true
Always believe it when you say "I love you too"
It’s one of the sweetest things I can give to you
After all the things that we've been through.
I love you very much, it's a risky thing to say
I'll still say it, come what may
They might call me crazy for falling in love with you
But it doesn't matter because I know it’s true.
I love you very much and it’s the perfect thing to give
After you've given me all the joy and bliss
It’s a song that reminds me of the things we can do
Things which when we're apart cannot come true.
I love you very much and I'd say it everyday
I hate to see the things that hurt you most, I wish it would go away
If only I have a one wish come true
I'd make it go away just for you.
But then it makes me so sad
Because the only way to make it come true
Is for me to let go of you
But still remember that "I LOVE YOU".
Thank You
It's rare to find someone like you
Who can turn gray skies into blue.
You who paint the rainbow after the rain
Makes my heart full of joy and I learn to dance again.
And every day I can see
That it soon feels easy
When you're with me
Every day I can only wish that you're here beside me.
You never turn your back on me
You're always there for me.
Thank you for staying with me
Even if sometimes it seems I'm crazy.
The End
Epilogue
Again, my sincerest thanks for embarking on a journey to my thoughts and poetry. May it serve as an inspiration for you to write too and join us self-proclaimed poets. Remember that you are never too old or too young to write. And when the time comes that I will share another part of my life, I do hope that you will take the time to read it again.
